Stock so far. I will be customizing it soon. I just haven't made my mind up about what I'm gonna do. quote |

Noo don't! >< It's beautiful just the way it is.
Lol kidding.. I changed up my Gibson Explorer quite a bit, what I did that looked nice was chrome pickup covers, and I know people say they change tone, but I honestly don't hear it at all, and my hearing is good. Maybe it's just if the pickups are crap of if the amp is, I don't know.
I also got black/silver reflector knobs to replace my black bell knobs, which look like what you have on there. Other than that, maybe a new toggle switch and tuners if you like the newer look, but vintage is sick too. =]
Oh I got a stainless steel pickguard on mine now too, which gives the explorer a much more modern look. quote |

Oh I also forgot, stainless steel truss rod cover too. I'm trying to see if I can get a custom one that says "Futura" on it..
I dunno, the bulky white trussrod cover on that just screams old-school, so if you like that look then don't change it. quote |

The Tuners will be getting changed. The vintage lookin' ones look fine on Les Pauls and SG's but I think they look awful on this Flying V. I'm gonna get some chrome Grovers soon. That's all I'm gonna change for now. I really like the stock pickups. quote |

I have now added some chrome Grover tuners to it and added a new pic. quote |

I have now installed an EMG 81 in the bridge and put a cover over the stock Gibson 496R neck pickup. I also put some silver top knobs on it too. quote |

Today I took the EMG 81 and the cover over the neck pickup off this guitar and put them in my Epiphone Korina Explorer. I put the original Gibson 500T back in the bridge position and it still has the 496R in the neck. quote |
