Alright, my names Joel, My birthday is on August 20th, 1995 and I love to play guitar.
And for a future career, I'm hoping to make it big time with my band. That is my dream.
As of now, I play what used to be my uncles ol' Suzuki acoustic, a serenade large bodied BJ acoustic and a Prototype Custom Les Paul. The Suzuki is not the best but it means alot to me. I've been playing guitar since August 23rd, 2008. I am also self-taught.
First off, my band is called 'Initiation Into The Asylum', often said as "Asylum" for short.
My band consists of five people. Kell, Lena, me, josh, and Ben. Josh is on drums, Kell is bass, Lena is lead vocals, Ben is on guitar and screamo vocals, and I am on lead guitar and do back-up Screamo vocals. We really don't have a specific song-writer, as we all usually take turns writing our songs.
We have a long way to go, but everything is coming along nicely. Our style is a death-metal-like grunge; metal, if you will.
My life so far has just been going down every since highschool, and I haven't been as happy as I usually am. I'm a nice person either way, I usually always try to be happy; even if my life sucks ass, but just trying to make it worse won't do any good, right?
I exceptionally love music, it's a massive part of my life, and will hopefully be my future, as that is what I am aiming for and will not stop until I achieve it. I am a very strong-willed person that just wants to enjoy his life.
