I personally use a Line 6 Toneport. They're cheap, come with everything you need to get recording. Also, that way, you can sync more than 1 guitar part (i know its not a good recording, but listen to my Through the Fire and Flames cover, I have 4 guitar parts during the fast part after the keyboard). And then you can break a song in chunks too, so if you mess up a part, you can simply rerecord it. Its all a little technical, but your recordings would sound so much better if you would get something to direct-record.. Maybe a new guitar too. Haha.

Yeah, The Aquabats are a bit strange. I love them, but I can see why people would find them weird/silly. Most Ska is serious though, so don't worry.
