All That Remains, Eluveitie, Immortal, Behemoth, Killswitch Engage, Amon Amarth, Metallica, As I Lay Dying, Five Finger Death Punch, Ex Deo, Disturbed, Cradle Of Filth, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Nightwish, Job For A Cowboy, Within Temptation, Korpiklaani, Winds Of Plague. I listen to much, much more than this but these are some of my favorites. I can appreciate almost any music and can have conversations about metal no matter what bands/sub genres they like.

Alexi Laiho of Children Of Bodom, Kirk Hammet and James Hetfield of Metallica, Dave Mustain, Chris Broderic and Marty Friedman of Megadeth, Mikael Akerdfeldt of Opeth, Thomas Youngblood of Kamelot, Abbath of Immortal, Nergal and Seth of Behemoth, and many more that I am sure I am forgetting, but greatly admire.

John Moyer of Disturbed, Fieldy of KoRn, Henkka Blacksmith of Children Of Bodom, Orion of Behemoth, Jeanne Sagan of All That Remains, Cliff Burton (RIP) of Metallica, Fred Leclercq of Dragonforce.

Lord Of The Rings, Star Wars, The Queen, Sweeney Todd, few more I can't think of at the moment.

I am a budding guitarist/bassist. Been playing bass for three years and guitar for about 8 months. I practice like crazy. Metal is mainly what I play and listen to but I'm wide open to other styles of music, especially classical, blues and rock.
