wow, I'm surprised you're reading this, it's quite odd to me, I'm so much of a geek that I'm ungeeky in the ways of the computer and the blog. So yes I am doing a project on songwriting for school, and I'm almost finished, I just need to write some lyrics, but I'm not a good writer at all. That's where you come in, I could use some tips that can get me through this project, I don't have much time, so I need them fast.
tips on lyrics, eh?, well, well, i personally dont really think lyrics are that important ( as long as the music is good) but anyway, make shure=
1 youre original (or at least not too obvious!)
2 you talk about something is important to you
also, with the not being too obvious thing, its quite useful to use similies or even metaphores or personification- you could be talking bout cleaning the toilet, but it could still be nice if uve used certain techniques!
