i'm into stuff like dinosaur jr, my bloody valentine, smashing pumpkins... but i like a lot of stuff. rage against the machine are pretty cool, so are the distillers, and i've got into metric just recently, so reasonably diverse tastes =]

probably kevin shields, tom morello and thurston moore. but paul gilbert's cool, and i like matt skiba too...

world war z and zombie survival guide by max brooks =]
and anything by danny wallace.

big bang theory is awesome!

fight club, high fidelity, lost in translation, transformers XD and iron man =]
