Probably yours if that works, because theres not a whole lot of room at my house, and we're having people over. I'm going to need your phone number again, and your address. Your number was on my old phone...which I don't have anymore.

Yeah. From like 1:30 to 5 or 5:30, if thats okay. I didn't realize it was fathers day this Sunday, so I have to be home for dinner. I'll contact you otherwise if that's not going to work

Alright, I'll talk to my parents about sunday.

By the way, my dad called the guys at Berklee back about the housing, and we were right, there still IS housing, therefore I still AM going. Very exciting.

Does next Sunday work? Not this coming one...the next one.

By the way, I just found out today I may not be able to go due to housing issues, which is very fellacious... Yes, I DO mean that it blows. My dad called the housing officer at Berklee a few weeks ago asking about alternative housing, and they said they're using the college next to them for housing during the program. I get a letter in the mail today saying that on-campus housing is booked, and the only alternative is to stay with a relative who lives in Boston. If nothing gets straightened out, I can't go. If that doesn't work out, I might be going to the 5-week performance program next year, which would also be awesome.

True. I want to be able to play some more actual blues stuff, but I have other things to do first before I devote a LOT of time to a genre I don't play a whole lot, although I do sometimes. At my guitar lessons, all we do is blues and jazz stuff with sight reading melodies and chord changes, so I get a decent exposure to it. I wish there was a more diverse music scene going on around here. There are some pretty unique bands, but most of them aren't real good. One of my favorite new-ish local bands is Zesiro...you should check them out. This summer I'm going to the guitar sessions at Berklee for a week, so hopefully I'll meet some cool people there and learn a whole lot, I can't wait for it. But yeah, the next two weeks would be good. The only days for sure I can't do anything would be this friday and next saturday, so we should try to fit something between there.

Yeah...I'm gonna have to agree with that.

I'm not sure if you heard that I quit Chaos and Clockwork. I'm excited though because I'm starting up another band (maybe two), and at least one of them should be gigging fairly soon. Undecided if we're going to have lyrics, but we're gonna have to write some jam type stuff as well as have some real melodic stuff to keep people interested in it.

Anyway...just thought I'd let you know. We should actually try jamming soon...I don't want to wait too long and then forget about it.

Holy crap, dude. The BOTB judging was so much BS last night. We played better than we did at practice. The crowd was really into it while we were playing, and went crazy after our songs. Three people asked for our demo CD, one of them was a guy from a record label, and we got an interview.

WE GOT SIXTH PLACE. OUT OF EIGHT.
We were told by so many people we shouldn't have gotten sixth. I went in there not expecting to get first. But sixth is bullsh't. Warren's dad talked to them, they said we played "too technically". We didn't play overly technical, and that's not part of the judging criterea. Jessica Lyndon Ray won. All she had going for her was her singing. They didn't take the originality, showmanship, or musical talent in there at all. There were definately 3 or 4 other bands better than her. It's rediculous.

Hi! I just had the first lesson of my second harp course, and it seems that this course (consisting of four lessons), we're gonna do some really cool stuff. I've just learned the main riff to John Mayall's "Room to move", which really makes you sound like a pro. We also had an introduction to walking bass lines, but the rest of that is for next week. I really love it, it makes me want to play more!

I just checked my thread on the UG forum; apparently you can only embed video's in the "About me"-section, because there it says "HTML allowed", and you cannot embed video's in your blog (unless you do know a way)

I copy-pasted the embed code, but I don't get the movie, I only get the code when I posted it (so now I've posted a version with just links to the movies). Is there something else I need to do? (Maybe you should explain it very slowly; one step at a time, because I forget something you find very obvious, I don't know!

Hey, I was wondering: how did you put the youtube video in your profile? I wanted to put some movies in my blog, but just putting in the hyperlink seemed a bit lame.
