Devin Townsend! :D There are loads of guitarists I respect. I have never quite understood all the hype over John Frusciante's playing though...

Favorite books :
I read a lot of non-fiction, finding out how things work and biographies etc...I've gone off fiction as ive gotten older.

Nevermind the Buzzcocks, QI, Whos line is it anyway?, Have I Got News For You, Room 101, Scrubs, Bear Grylls, Spongebob Squarepants, 120 minuites, Mythbusters, The Simpsons, House, How is it Made?, various Documentary stuff.

I'm Steve, 19 from Gloucester UK. I am currently doing an art foundation with plans to study fine art at Loughborough university this October. Here's a quick plug of some of my work, there's not much recent work on there though.
As far as guitar playing goes I play guitar and bass and ukulele...ahem. My influences come from rock, metal, pop, prog, ska ... but I tend to just listen to and learn anything I like the sound of. Even if it is just for one small part of the song. I really enjoy working songs out by ear, so any tabs I submit probably going to have the odd mistake, but I like to think I do a fairly good job working them out. At home I also do a bit of ameteur recording with a little BOSS 8 track of mine which I'll upload onto here as I do them.
I also play bass in a Brit Rock band which has plently of material but no name unfortunately!
