Ok guys, I hear a lot about how much "you need to take lessons!" Personally, I think its a load of crap. I'm tired of people asking how to play guitar! Think of all the people that never took formal lessons, THEY were the ones that made a huge impact! Now think of the uber theory nerds, Yngwie, Satriani... there songs all sound the same. Not to say I don't envy there sheer speed, but I don't believe thats what makes a great guitarist. Now quit asking people "what scales should I learn to play ____ ?" dammit why don't you think for yourself for once? Thats the reason every popular band these days sounds the same, because everybody keeps asking how to play "metal" or whatever...
this is a sad, sad story of a boy who has no idea what good music is. I would have posted in the pit buuuut I'm banned .
so anyway I'm at my aunts house and I plug my Sansa (mp3 player) into my cousin's iPod speakers to listen to some music. The intro to "Blackened" by Metallica fades in. about 1/4 through the song he goes "Dude, Sam I hate Godsmack!"
I looked at him for a minute, wondering where his parents went wrong. I was baffled, flabbergasted, and all those other funny words.
got my amp on thursday the 19... I think thats right, well whatever. the point is B-52 tube amps kick some major ass! you won't find a better sounding tube amp for this price (atleast for hard rock and metal). the Clean channel is awesome maybe not fender quality but its great and the overdrive is fantastic not buzzy or hissy even when its all the way up, unless you stand right next to it facing it but I don't do that. It is easily gig-worthy you can hear it pretty easily over drums.
Finally something to replace my Marchall MG!!!! thinking of buying a B-52 tube amp? these are the best for the guy on a budget.
