Well I assume you all know the song Imagine. If you dont , i suggest you go read a book or something instead of this. Anyway,I think that its obvious that Lennon (bless his soul) wrote that and honestly felt that way. You just dont hear such an inspiring song like that come from the heart of the singer and
not just some guy in the back. I dont even think that he was able to
live long enough to realize what an effect he made on many peoples
lives,including mine.
Well now that Perfect Circle has covered
it (a version that needed to be made) i think that all the bases have
been covered on 'Imagine' as far as the physical musical values are
concerned.
So,almost a half a century later,what do we do if we
want the idea of peace and true happiness to go on? Well, in short
terms, we follow the words of his legendary song and we allow the world
to 'live as one' if you will.
Well long story short, I believe
it is truly in the youths hands to 'imagine no possesions'
because,after all, its 'easy if we try'.
