My first real guitar, plays great for the price. It has a rosewood fingerboard, three single coil pickups, trem bar. I use it for all types of playing, metal, acoustic simulator, clean, hard rock, alternative, anything. Everyone says single coils suck for metal and heavy tones but it sounds fine when using both the mid and bridge pickup with the tone off, and Kirk Hammet used a Strat for years before he could afford a better guitar and he still owns Strats.
