i have played guitar around 8 years.
piano 2011-2013 as well younger from (and 1995-2003).
multiple brass instruments (2001-2003) and now just on occasion.
i have a lot of gear. i like obscure things as well as the good shit.
i have a lot of free time and play quite a bit.
i teach lessons in studio (i usually keep it around four to five students)
i like to work on electronics. i have successfully built two amps and modded a third. i am still really learning.

i like playing metal and blues, i go through phases back and fourth and usually playing one or the other.

i haven't been in a band for probably a tad over a year, but i LOVE open mic's/jams. IMO its like gigging, but you don't have to worry about somebody not showing or having problems with people. its simple and everybody you need is already there. i hit two bars a week for three or four hours. i know a lot of people around here from doing open mics (most are in their 60's, but i like it and have learned a lot from them).

i have an AA, BA in Econ, and an MBA. so in other words, i have worked my ass off.
