I see you're growing your little garden
In the window of your apartment.

On Fridays from work, I take the long way
Just to hear you sing your little song.

The last time I came,
You picked me a flower.
You painted it pink,
Let it float in the breeze.

But I ran into your girlfriend, out on the sea; she told me you don't sing anymore.

I still feed pigeons like we did back home
It may be just me, but they don't come as close.
