I'm 18 years old and I live in the Midlands in the United Kingdom. A lot of people say that the town I live in is quite shitty, but I think it's okay - the countryside's only a stone's throw away: some mates and myself often take a couple of acoustic guitars and head out to 'the woods' and just chill out all night around a camp fire. It's all good.
I've been playing guitar for a few years (three, I think, though I lost count ages ago). Since starting to play the guitar, I've got heavily into blues. Now I just can't get enough of it. I'm also a huge fan of just 'rock' in general. Anything like Nickelback, Black Stone Cherry, Velvet Revolver, I love (because of the great guitar tones). I have a few electric guitars, a nice(ish) VOX amp with the fantastic Tonelab SE. I also have an acoustic (as a lot of people do...) made by Garrison, who aren't the best-known make of guitars in the world, but honestly, it's fantastic .
I'm in a band called The Pandemics . We're a sort of rock/modern-band. I used to play guitar, but due to lots of line-up changes, I now play bass (quite reluctantly...), though I am slowly getting into it... I bought a Squier Jazz Bass for the job a few months ago, and (bear in mind I know nothing about bass guitars) it seems to be holding out pretty darn well.
And when I'm not playing the guitar, I'm either listening to music or attempting to tab songs out. Check out some of my contributions. I also like writing reviews on Ultimate-Guitar, though I haven't written one for a while... I occasionally post in the forums, if there's something of interest to me, but haven't done for a while.
Check out my band's latest gig video:
The quality isn't perfect, and the first song sucks ass, but I don't mind... Comments welcome!
