I started playing guitar seriously in 2005. I started playing on an acoustic Ibanez (model PF5, I believe). I got hooked to it pretty quickly, and rapidly felt the need to get an electric guitar, given I mostly listen to rock and metal. I got an Epiphone Les Paul Standard plain top with a Line 6 Spider II 30W amp.
After a couple of years of doodling around, I got a Schecter Damien with a Floyd Rose tremolo, to be able to pull out those squeals like Dimebag (RIP). I managed to save enough money to invest in a Gibson Les Paul, and I started to get some effect pedals. Then I got myself a nice little all-tube combo amp. I'm pretty happy about my gear, although I could use a wah...
