I do not consider rap music i mean anyone can take a little program and do a drum track over and over again and slap some words on it....wow omg!! rap is just gay all the way around. all the lyrics are about is stuff like: Money, Drugs, Girls, The Getto, and about how bad there life are and stuff. but then you see them in these huge houses and with lots and lots of money!! its just stupid!
Don't you just despise of those who look down on you? Just because they are older?... Yeah we all know those people, the ones who stand tall and look down on you casting a dark black cloud on top of your head. So what does age really mean..
I mean,
Really... What does it mean to you?
To me it means nothing.
Sure, you might have your drivers license, your parents don't care if you come home at night. But does it really mean you are more mature than me?
No, I really don't think it does.
It's common sense that this is the case. Because between 14 and up all the way to 100 or whatever your age you'll come across people that are all after the same objective in life, to keep living, to make money, and to aide their family. Because I'm 16 and "your" 18 or 19, doesn't give you a single reason to look down on me like I'm a little kid, or a baby. You all know those people I'm sure, the ones that think they have done more with their life when in reality they have spent many lonely nights getting high or drinking? Yeah I know those ones all too well. I don't want to get into all the stereotypical mumbo jumbo, call this rant that if you want, but from where I am from the majority of people drink, or do drugs.
Ah yea, those old guys, well you come across the nice ones then you come across the ones who only want you to suffer, who use their age as an excuse as to why you should listen to them. Yeah, so you've lived longer than me, you've been farther with your life, you know how to live it. Okay but do you know how I want to live mine? No, you don't so let me decide that for myself, thanks.
I'm not trying to sound stuck up or arrogant, it's just something that I keep in mind, agree with me or not, it's my oppinion.
i don't know about many of you, but i've noticed that alot of people are starting to play the guitar, and for the wrong reasons. The way i see it, you should start guitar if you have a passion for music and want to play a great instrument, but most people seem to be going out and buying a guitar to impress the girls(although that is 1 good benefit), but mostly cause it makes them "look" cool to own one. Then they go and learn an easy, "popular song" like american idiot or something, and suddenly everyones like "oh yeah, go you, your awesome", and it really pisses me off cause I sit down and learn songs of different difficulties, and I even write my own stuff, but thats overlooked cos its not as good as a professionals song, even if its the most basic thing ever.
I've also noticed that peoples view of guitarists has changed. It used to be "yeah, i play guitar", followed by "woah, great my band needs a guitarist, they're so hard to find." but now its more like "oh, well thats cool. My bands looking for a guitarist, I ask you to join but we're holding auditions for the other hundred people in town that play."
I don't no if i'm being a bit harsh there, but thats how i feel!!!
