The idea is that I wanted to just press record, and play without any editing other than compressing the audio a bit. I feel like there's just something so pure and real about playing music without cutting stuff. Rather than showing yourself at your best, it's about showing yourself at your average without trying to hide your mistakes.
There's one descending Keith style lick that I kept missing over and over, and I botched the shave and a haircut at the end, of all things. But it's better that way.
Some weird tune that I play at open mic nights when I've got nothing else to play. It's really just a bunch of random unrelated bits in A phrygian major. I kind of just pressed record and played for 10 minutes. I also compressed the shit out of the audio, so it sounds weird.
riff from my upcoming viking metal album that at this point may or may not be recorded in the near future. i really have no idea. but i've been telling everyone about it, so i figure i'd at least record one riff. for whatever reason though, near the end the track drops from stereo to mono. not sure why.
So bad. Don't learn songs on instruments you don't play. Sorry about the derpy beginning part. On the plus side you can at least sort of tell what tune it is, and it sounds sort of like shamisen.
