In response to your thread, the notes: D G A Db could really be seen as: A C# G D which would be called A11. The intervals to an 11th chord: 1, 3, (5), b7, (9), 11. That's not to be confused with major 11th which would have a natural 7th.

Try A Mixolydian over it


If it's in a progression, you should probably bring that up.
