So you made your own fucking fan club?

of course! I thought it would be the most obnoxiously funny thing to do.

I agree with you, and I agree completely with about our individual responsibility. I just think that it applies to more than just music. I liked it, and I think we need more of the same. I was just trying to offer some constructive criticism.

Alright man I'll be sure to avoid you in the future then, later

Who the hell do you think you are? You're just some guy on UG that the rest of the world doesn't know about, by the way if nobody cares about what I have to say then why are you freaking about?

Hey man I got offended because I'm not that type of guitarist and don't like being called that kind, I'll give you credit for your blogs because I'm sure they take a long time to write and you put a lot of effort into them, but I think you flipped out too far on me just because I more or less said I didnt like your opion.

intenseshawn wrote on Aug 12th, 2009 7:19am

you act like some pretty big hardass, what are you beat me up over the internet, or maybe hunt me down? LOL You fuck go write some more in-auditable, garbage bass lines

I laugh at this statement, is that why you're some 30 year-old loser who has nothing better to do than try to ripp on 17 year-old kids expressing their opions?

Either that... or people are too retarded to realize what the reality of pop music is today.

It takes a special kind of person to attempt to disorient the reader. I have to say though, I have become much less tolerant of hearing terrible music since reading the blog... which was 2 days ago so... Take from that what you will.

Hey fitz, I was wondering if you could help me, I'm looking for a warm, tube like overdrive, is the El Grande of any use in that light? (I'm aware it's a fuzz, but it's been mentioned to me several times)

Cheers, Sam.

I was using the glam/new age/grunge thing as an analogy. What I'm saying is I want a scene shattering revolution - the grunge to this glam/new age scene we're in.

Ahh, makes sense chap, hows u?

Still the 410HLF. I'm hunting for a Mesa 2x12 and 1x15, or maybe even some Carvin cabs (I tried a Carvin 1x15 and 1x18 and liked them both a lot). But hey, now that I've got a 400+, that was the hard part.... cabs are easy to find. This thing sounds SO good with the Stingray :D

I bought some Jazztone 205s (the only JTs my store had in stock - they're the tiny ones with the tip like the 208s) to test against the 207s, whose lack of tip is starting to bug me. While easier to use (even though it's significantly smaller), the 205s had a lot, LOT less bass than the 207s.

Now, I'm wondering - is it because of the sharp tip, or the fact that there's so little mass of pick compared to the 207s?

Basically, my real question is, is it worth schlepping my ass downtown to get 208s (and new strings) to try out? If the 208s are edgier but have the same bass presence as the 207s, I'll switch, but I'm not sure if they'll be any bassier than the 205s.

I find them bassier if that's any use to you ;)

I think its worth the schlep, but if you want one to try out, send me your address and I'll post one off to you this week.
