ok, so the speaker on my computer sucks ass, and I they've been leaving out notes when i'm listening to music. I found this out when I was listening to Rammstein, "Pussy" in my car (that has only ONE speaker working, fyi) and I heard a 4th and an 8th note in the pre-chorus for the keys, so now I have to go back, listen to everything by iPod or stereo, and find out what I missed. Just fcking awesome... so, yeah I should be editing tabs for the next week of so.
So, on Friday i had a bad morning and it ended in me punching a stone wall and a metal banister (at school) in frustration, ending up in me injuring my fretboard hand. It's not broken, but I lost some skin on my knuckles and playing power chords and stretching my ring finger is followed by pain, so I can't play too well at the moment... Nurse said I'll be fine in a few days, but if it still hurts a week from now, I gotta get it x-ray. Hopefully it won't alter my hand, is shouldn't....
anyway. other updates. I'm in a band now. Got Will in Rhythm and Cody on Keys, and some other kid i don't know the name of yet on bass. we're writing at the moment, at least I am. Cody's got some stuff up on his myspace. We need a drummer. Will might sing, we're not sure yet.
Senior Year. Cool. Got a girlfriend last October, still with her. :] Name's Morgan. I turn 18 in less than a month. That's cool.
Taking AP Music theory to increase my musical knowledge. It's working. Planning on going to UNT to study music. 25% acceptance rate, so it'll be hard. Even harder now with an injured finger.....
tornado almost hit our hit my school yesterday....
my band disbanded back in november due to the fact i am single now. (ex was the bassist), and i couldn't get them to do anything anyway, pretty much.
so yeah, still hitting the strings waiting for a spot in a band to open.
doesn't mean i'm still writing songs, i've got like 4 (or 5) done and just waiting to add bass and drums when the time comes. they're named, "Down the Rabbit Hole," "Six-Shooter Revenge" "Children of Lilith" and "The Monk and the Magnum" plus a few that're untitiled.
kay, tried posting beyond the hourglass on a blog, but it was no good. a bunch of jumbled stuff, so i was like, "f*ck this" and am gonna try and send it in again....
may i mention school is so boring? and i'm as tired as f*ck half the time?
ok, this is the third time i've sent in the tab. it's been rejected twice with the traditional e-mail. but the thing is, the tab seems good to me, and i can't find out why.
