Thats right, I post this blog now from a
mac computer. The real news here is garageband. O my lord garageband.
Today I uncovered the single greatest thing for mac users and fans of
the program Guitar Pro. You can actually export your Guitar Pro song as
a MIDI then import it into Garageband, use the better sounding
Garageband instruments then export it as a .mp3. Of course you can also
record the actual instrumental part with a mic and line them up over
top the MIDI then delete the MIDI for the ultimate recording. You can
also add vocals and other instruments to these tracks. And best of all,
every guitar player can go download a song as a Guitar Pro file, import
it into Garageband, delete the guitar part and have a flawless backing
track so you can jam to real tunes or record the guitar parts to them.
How sweet it it.
