I'm a musician from Finland/Aland. As a guitarist I play mostly metal but also some blues and recently some acoustic stuff. I use directional/economy picking almost exclusively and I'm also practicing sweep picking. I usually write a progressive form of metal. I'm mostly inspired by bands like Opeth, Dream Theatre and Porcupine Tree, melodic death metal like Insomnium, Amon Amath and Dark Tranquillity as well as modern black metal such as Naglfar, Emperor and even some Dimmu Borgir. Cradle of Filth with their Gothic influence is a big inspiration for me. Recently I've also really gotten into the Alternative rock band Incubus
I'm also a gear nerd and always searching for better tone.

Looking at this profile you might have guessed I'm a metalhead. That's partly true and I really love good metal but I listen to all music I find interesting and that I feel is very well written, be it classical, Jazz, Rock it doesn't matter really. Always feel free to recommend me a band you think I'd like.
