Bass First wrote on Aug 2nd, 2009 11:10amMy neck's fine, a bit on the bendable side but it's one of the best i've played on, that isn't 600 dollars +. I'm pretty sure it's a gloss finish, it's shiny and fast. I don't know what satin feels like / the difference between the two.
But again, these basses are love or hate. quote |

I found mine in a shop (a shop which also retails behringers :haha , not sure if you could find anything in america. Most fender parts should work, i'm not sure on the bridge, i think you have to drill new holes with the badass II's

Yeah, definately, i love mine to death and i'm not planning to upgrade until i find a bass that i can top it and that i like.
Tonally they're good, not outstanding but it'll do the job. Plus it's mostly the amp where your tone comes from. The build of it is quite good aswell, i've had it for 5 years and i've never broken anything on it except a few strings. I'd definately reccomend getting one but it's one of those brands where you should play the bass before you buy. Some of the basses are pretty shit and some of them a very nice, on par with squier VM's i would say.
Another nice thing is that they use good wood, so you can customize it with new bridges, pups etc and it'd be just as good as a fender.

Also, I'm incredibly jealous of you working for Warrior. Once I saw one of those, I knew I had to have one. I've heard nothing but good things about them. |
The Kustom Groove C 310 is a very nice combo and yes it blows the Bassman away by a long shot but it is a heavy amp.
and Yes Warrior makes very nice guitars and you get what you pay for.
what gets my goat is Warrior has a showroom in California but nothing here where they are made but most of us ol country bumpkins arent going to shell out that much money for a guitar and I would not have either one of mine if i had not worked for the company and built them in my spare time.
they are definately professional musicians instruments.

It's about slayer's Christ "illusions" album artwork.

thefitz wrote on Feb 10th, 2008 6:58amThanks for the blog comment. I believe in a song, the MELODY is the single most important thing in the song. For lyrics to really, really gel well with a melody, they really need to rhyme - or at least that's how I see it. Yes, bands like Pearl Jam can pull of melodies without rhyming at all, but I believe that the more rhyming the song is, the more sing-songy it is, and the more sing-songy it is, the more melodic it is. But yes, if you're going to rhyme, fucking RHYME. And, for what it's worth, songs with shite rhyming setups rarely have a good message to convey. But, like I said, don't sacrifice a message for rhyming, but both are crucial. quote |
