many of you know that I have a blog dedicated to my art, but I have decided to create this one as a place to post my work with photoshop since it is something that I think I will be doing much more of as time goes on.

my first real attempt of anything like this in photoshop so it is not nearly as polished as my other stuff but I am still very happy with it
 done a few years ago and based on a dream I had.
In the dream, the world ended. The continents split into pieces and those who didn't drown in the sea spent their days sailing chunks of land through the water in search of their salvation.

part of a series of five images that I am producing. each image will be a different part of an original story. In the story, the earth shatters into pieces which float off into an ethereal space, where they sit until eventually converging into a new planet.

Adam: the firstborn
"He opened his eyes, and reached out to see his own hands for the first time: the bright light of the monitor glaring hot enough to see through his artificial skin to the complex network of motors and electrical components beneath the rubber.
'Good morning, Adam' the loudspeaker sad 'how are you feeling?'"
I am doing a series of images portraying the "birth" of an android. This is the first one, and depicts the moment the android opens his eyes for the first time. The image was assembled in photoshop out of about 34 different images.
I will probably end up doing about 3-4 more images to complete the story
