Hey man, thanks for the reply about the Rebel. It sounds really good to me, and sounds like it will work for what I do. I'm going to try it out at my local GC very soon. Which cab should I get for it, the Egnater one or a different one? And 1X12, 2X12, 4X12, ect? Thanks so much!! |
the egnater cabs are designed for it, to acheive it's optimal sound, like all cabs that are built by the same company that makes the heads (Mesa/boogie, Marshall, etc).
try out a couple, and if worst comes to worst, you can always buy some tone tubby speakers!.
i personally suggest a cabinet with at least two speakers in it. i find that cabinets with one speaker dont push the sound enough unless they're tilted or are on a chair.

the Egnater deoas have a fair amount of headroom up until 12 o'clock, so if you wanted dirst with your pedals instead o your amp, it could work.
but the egnater does it's best work when it goes past 12. i like having it around 2-3 o'clock, then using my volume for a cleaner tone.
the amp is loud enough for live situations as well as home pratices.
i hope this has helped. if you have any more questions, feel free to leave a messafe on my profile. quote |
