by the way - it's a JEM not a Gem quote |

I have a gem555 the pick-ups are hot! & and its build quality... perhaps there are some minor flaws i.e. the tremolo system not as great as higher end models, but I think its an insult to Steve himself giving his Gem a rating such as yours... shame on you! quote |
stonyman65a wrote on Mar 1st, 2008 1:28pmYes, the Jem was 10 years old when I bought it. The person who had it before me did not take care of it. After nearly 2 yeras of suffering with it, I replaced the body with an RG470FM body and a Schaller floyd Rose from Warmoth. No problems now. And for your information, I have been playing for over 6 years and have built 3 guitars - I damn shure know what I am talking about. quote |
Tartan_nick wrote on Dec 23rd, 2007 7:24amThe jem you have is either fake, ten years old or broken or you just dont know how to use a guitar or how to rate one.
No guitar should ever get a 1/10 on reliability unless it actually breaks as you pick it up.
I find everything you said in that review heavily negatively biast etc etc. quote |
