Once again... I was reviewing MY Jem555 which had serious flaws. I've played others that where not nearly as bad. It was not a hit on the 555 line by itself but a hit on the individual guitar I own.

by the way - it's a JEM not a Gem

Yes, the Jem was 10 years old when I bought it. The person who had it before me did not take care of it. After nearly 2 yeras of suffering with it, I replaced the body with an RG470FM body and a Schaller floyd Rose from Warmoth. No problems now. And for your information, I have been playing for over 6 years and have built 3 guitars - I damn shure know what I am talking about.

No guitar should ever get a 1/10 on reliability unless it actually breaks as you pick it up.
