Sup everybody, as you may have known, my bands first gig was sucky, but we've been getting tighter and are better prepared, we have around 7 completed songs, with around 15 total songs, we've been recording our completed works every week, and editing the parts we aren't in to. We came up with the name the Brakemen as our band name, and have gotten a gig at our buddy's warehouse in March. As for future plans, the singer and I met this hip hop artist, who's looking for a guitarist, and harmonica player, so we may guest on this guys album. (I'll keep you updated on it though) We've also came up with the idea for a concept album, so we are gonna be working on that, after our current stuff is completed. That's all see ya later.
Sucked, but seriously the sound system was horrible and we forgot the cords (they had two one for bass, and one we had to split between harp and guitar)
It all started Tue. I was asked to do two songs with my friends on Thurs.(who were playing a coffeehouse, so I agreed) so I spent the night and we practiced, Thurs. comes 'round and we eat lunch at the place (singer(Colton) works there so we eat half off) and then I get a look at the corner we'd have to squeeze ourselves in and it wasn't that bad. We pick up Todd (bass) and equipment, and then set off, we set up and the sound system sucks can't hear ourselves for anything, to make a long story short I played for four hours. If you want to hear more P.M. me.
