It took me years and years of practice to acquire my skillz.

Thanxxx! I forgot the words at the end, and said "from the depths of my gloom" twice, instead of "from the peaks of my joy" the second time. Ah wellz.

Ohh and the Thermals were amaaaazing. They didn't play much from Fuckin' A, which is the best one, but still. They opened with "Returning To The Fold" and closed with "No Culture Icons."

hey i saw your Comets On Fire comment; do you listen to Raccoo-oo-oon? they're hit or miss sometimes but they scratch the rash that Comets On Fire gave me.
I haven't listened to them, but I might check it out if I can remember.

Hey sorry, only just noticed the blog comment about MV & EE recommendations. One of the easiest to get into is probably 'Green Blues', but personal favourites are 'Tonight! One night only! MV & EE in Heaven', 'Livestock moon forms' and 'Eye in the pines'. 'Ragas of the culvert' certainly isn't their best. I'd maybe recommend checking out some of the live stuff first, 'Iron Brew', 'Meet snakes pass & other human conditions' and 'Guitar barn' are great examples.
If you can't find anything give me a shout and I'll try and get some up somewhere.

i actually read somewhere that he wanted it like that, but someone convinced him to dub in all the strings. for sure would sound better without, or at least not as dated.
