Ohh and the Thermals were amaaaazing. They didn't play much from Fuckin' A, which is the best one, but still. They opened with "Returning To The Fold" and closed with "No Culture Icons."

hey i saw your Comets On Fire comment; do you listen to Raccoo-oo-oon? they're hit or miss sometimes but they scratch the rash that Comets On Fire gave me. | I haven't listened to them, but I might check it out if I can remember.

Andrewbiles wrote on Nov 15th, 2008 11:42pmHey sorry, only just noticed the blog comment about MV & EE recommendations. One of the easiest to get into is probably 'Green Blues', but personal favourites are 'Tonight! One night only! MV & EE in Heaven', 'Livestock moon forms' and 'Eye in the pines'. 'Ragas of the culvert' certainly isn't their best. I'd maybe recommend checking out some of the live stuff first, 'Iron Brew', 'Meet snakes pass & other human conditions' and 'Guitar barn' are great examples.
If you can't find anything give me a shout and I'll try and get some up somewhere. quote |
