Boyce (aka 'smb') is officially a physics student but hasn't been to a class in over six months. He spends most of his time reading and writing, listening to music and playing music, seeing people and partying. After being diagnosed with bipolar disorder last year he has given up alcohol and is taking his time trying to get to grips with the condition. He is strongly atheist but loves reading and discussing religious texts. He is bisexual and finds it's less interesting than it sounds. He lives variously in Cornwall and Hampshire.
Reading my blogs? They're not up to much, but I recommend Escaping the Past (an autobiographical short written as fiction, inspired by Haruki Murakami's short stories), my bass combo reviews which could do with updating but are food for thought for bass gearheads, or recommended bands that are well worth seeing if you're in the south of England.
Apologies for not being on UG much lately but it's been a busy time. Various family members have various illnesses and now that exams are finishing it's party season again. I'm also planning a move to Portsmouth and trying to put things in place for that (i.e. get a reference out of my current tutor!) Anyway I hope you're all well and I'll be back on more regularly soon.
