Number...5 is it?

Current mood: Tired.

Well I have a couple new mp3's up, no fulls songs yet but I'm working on a collab with entity0009 and Spoony_Bard, so look for that soon, it's going to be very awesome.

I also started lifting weights, almost religiously. Great progress so far, but I'm still far too weak..

Christmas is coming up..that will be interesting. And school is going pretty boring, but i'm excited to be taking driver's Ed finally, should have my permit in a couple months.

And for this week's quoteable noteable:
"
Misery is almost always the result of thinking."

I find that is true a lot, but I think the same can be said for happiness. Or rather, we have have to think to realize the bad, and then work to create our own happiness out of it, a bit longer but the same basic idea I guess.

Quote of the Week #3

Current mood: depressed

I apologize for being a day late, I was out of town but I swear, I'm doing my best to be consistent. And here's some music, i figure it's alright since it's almost December. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Trw_9kXq2RI

As for the RATM cover I was planning, like i said i went out of town so it didn't happen, soon though.

Other than that I've been very busy, schools picking up, the rush of the holidays and trying to keep up with music and friends is getting to be a bit
much.

Speaking of holidays, how was everyone's (at least the American's) thanksgiving? Mine was cool, went to my grandparent's house.

Now the quote haha:

The best way out is always through.
Robert Frost

Quote of the Week #2

Current mood: As alive as your father's corpse and as dead as yo

Alright, the first one got a great reception so here's number two!
For those who's computer can handle youtube taking up their processor power, here's a link, especially for Mushy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioG2jR-obac

For everyone else, I uploaded a jam a few minutes ago,  "Drop D Riffage", listen to that while you read.

A quick little update, the Crystal Mountain cover I mentioned last week is on my band Into Death From Hypocrisy profile, no vox though :/
For my next mp3, hopefully recorded and put up by tomorrow, a cover of Rage Against the Machine's Killing in the Name Of. I've got a backing track that has the original vocals and everything, I just need everyone to get out of the house so I can use a little volume

And this week's quote:
It is easier for us to be wise for others than for ourselves

Francois De La Rochefoucauld

Alrighty Then, Let's Do It.

Current mood: weird

First off, some music to listen to while you read
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_wd9qoMsKo&fea ture=related

Ok, well I saw a thread in the forums about quotes, from famous people, people in power, or just generally awesome quotes and I loved a lot of them, so I decided I'll do a weekly blog and post some cool ones, or ones that I like anyways. So yeah, subscribe, you know you want to. Anyways, hope your enjoying that song, I really like it, also I'm learning to do Death Metal vocals, not full on gurgles like porngrind or anything, think Death/Dethklok style vocals. In fact, I'm going to *attempt* (read: fail at) covering Crystal Mountain by Death. Vocals and all

So yeah, here's the first quote, depending on the reception of this blog I'll judge if I should do more or not, so if you like the idea and want something to read once a week tell me.

Good people are good because they've come to wisdom through failure. We get very little wisdom from success, you know.

Squier Bullet Mod (PICS)

Current mood: blank

So yeah, I got a squier bullet, played it for a few seconds and said "I'mma mod this bitch!"

So I figured out everything I didn't like, and set to work. I got a new nut, to help the tuning, a pickguard/pups, all that good stuff for tone and versatility, and a new bridge, because the old one sucked lol. I also took if from that toy looking metallic blue finish to a nice white, with a pearloid pickguard, it's puuuurty :D

So yeah, without further ado, teh pics:

The neck

The body originally

I didn't get any pictures of just paint on it unfortunately, but here is is just after the second coat of lacquer went on.

And then finally when it's complete, here are a few.

Close up

The nut (graphtech :p)

A full shot from front and back:

..So yeah, that's my baby. I lowered the action, it plays great, and gets any tone you want, I've gotten tones for metallica, megadeth, sublime, srv, clapton, anything really out of it.

Lemme know whatchya think, I'll get an mp3 up soon, pretty busy atm, but I thought UG would want to see
