Hi, I'm Steve and I live in Columbus, Ohio. I've been married to the same beautiful woman for over 17 years. And as you can tell by my user name, we have a little boy named Seth, who is now 2 years old. Being a dad is the coolest!!!!!!!!!
I've been playing guitar for almost 30 years, and doing it professionally for the last 15. When I started playing, I took lessons off and on, tried teaching myself, and spent 3 years in the US Army, (the army did wonders for my playing...NOT!)
After the military, I attended Music Tech of Minneapolis, (similar to GIT). School was both a lot of work and a lot of fun. I got to learn from some amazing musicians; Emanuel Kiriakou, Randy Sobaski, Jeff Loven, and Todd Duane just to name a few. Since graduating, I've been teaching and playing in bands, both cover and original. I'm not in a band currently, because I just don't have the time. I teach about 25 students a week and I also have a full-time night job. In the future, I want to record and perform original material, that I've been working on.
Besides being a husband, a dad, and a musician, I'm also a born-again Christian. I love Jesus and enjoy sharing my faith. My future project is ministry related. I guess you'd call it a concept album, (each song tells a story within the story kinda thing). The stuff I write has sort of King's X meets Alice in Chains feel to it. I can't wait til its finished.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, play guitar, watch movies, and listen to just about all kinds of music. I'm a big-time Conservative. I love Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, etc. I'm a huge sports fan. College football - (GO BUCKS!!!!!)-, NFL, MLB, NHL, and college basketball.
Now that you know a little about me, tell me about you.
