Life
for me is about to enter a new chapter I feel, there is some inevitable
change coming, a change of which i have known for some time now. I have
one last week of sweet, sweet summer before I embark on a journey that
will not easily be accomplished, there are mountains to climb and
obstacles to be conquered, though, it will never be easy, life rarely
is, I will find the strength to succeed, with any luck.
Some of my best friends are leaving, friends who have been there
through everything, I know that I will very likely never see some of
them again, and some will be gone only for a short while, some will
linger, and some will disappear from my life. I suppose there will
always be people I call my friends, it isnt like they're all dieing
off, though some are a dieing breed.
One of my greatest fears is that our lives will go separate ways, and
everything we've had together, good times and bad, will be lost to the
wind, only memories. Though this wont hold anyone back, they all have
their own paths to follow, the past will always become the past, and
what is the past really outside of just a memory?
So the endless summer has finally started to come to a close, life
starts here, everything that you've accomplished, everything you've
learned, everything you've lived has only been in preparation for now,
this is life, this is real, there's a big world that is only waiting to
be conquered, if only in some small way.
