Nice gear you got there, just a quick question.

How do you like your C-1 Classic to your Les Paul?

I actually prefer the C1 Classic to the Les Paul. However, I'm also not comfortable with Les Paul ergonomics. I much prefer the feel of a Super-Strat like the C1 Classic. Tonally they are two different beasts. My ears tell me that the C1 Classic is just a hair hotter in gain and also has a bit better top end.

I feel guilty to admit it but I prefer the C-1 Classic. It gets the Les Paul tones I need and quite a few others that a Les Paul can't. It's too bad they discontinued them. :(

Personally, I prefer the Schecter.

That's cool as long as it's legible.
But i'm sure weight wise it's no biggie, are the picikups on it active or passive?
and is the back of the neck glossy or is it more like a wood with a slight finish on it?
I think that's it thanks bro

Sorry about that, sometimes my words mix themselves up :p: I meant classic, and thanks for the help that's the sort of neck I like on a guitar

So I saw you own a Schecter C1 custom and I'm looking into buying one can you give me an idea of what it's like (neck, weight, action, etc) because it's hard to find them where I live. thanks

I like the "UK Modern" model.

Gain - 10
Treble - 8/9
Mid - 3/4
Bass - 7/8

I then use the standard reverb, VERY quiet delay or SLIGHT chorus with reverb.

I use a Schecter Omen-6 Extreme... I use the middle or bridge pickup selector.
