Are you using Adobe Flash for this, or is there a free (or at least cheaper) flash editor out there?

Naw man, I'm using FlashDevelop and Flashpunk, both for free, and both 100x better than the Adobe Flash editor. For making games, at least.

Hey man, as a serious reply, I think you should probably go. Don't keep doing things you don't enjoy. A menial task will always be menial, but you will enjoy even the shittiest things when you're doing something that really matters to you. You'll learn this quickly after you finish your education and try to get 'real' jobs and shit, but just keep in mind to do what you want to do and "follow your bliss" like Joseph Campbell says. If you are questioning it, it's probably best to leave it. Gut feel goes a long way.

I've never had an avatar before, at least not a "constant" one. I've had a santa hat for christmas once. I think I'll take this one down eventually.
Also, you might see this post twice. I already write a reply but it doesn't seem to have been posted.

Yeah, I've never associated you with any images, just your screen name. I guess that's a good thing though. How's your summer going? I'm cleaning my room and unpacking after moving home from college. Finding jobs is easy, but finding the right job that you'll enjoy is very hard. Unemployment and being poor sucks. =\

Diggin the new avatar. It's been a while since you had one, yeah?

Your new avatar makes me laugh every time I see it, good sir :haha: .

You have an impressive collection of equipment. The tabs you've submitted suggest that you have a very good command of the instrument. I don't often visit the songwriting forum, but I just read your "Noobs do have souls" thread.
I'm not trying to suck up to anyone here, but I've always really admired people who have such an understanding and deep appreciation for both music and poetry. I've always wanted to be one of those people. And while I'm here lurking your profile, I just thought I'd let you know that.

Thank you very much indeed, kind sir. xD Music is a pretty broad hobby and has a lot of different tangents.

For myself, I started out writing and playing cheesy acoustic songs, then moved onto weird acoustic songs, then started to write lyrics and poetry. Then I learned how to shred, how to jam. Then I bought a load of gear and learned how to use that. Finally I became a mod and started becoming an adult. :D

You seem awfully proud of your guitars, particularly the Jim Root and the Charvel.

But then, who wouldn't be?

Thank you,

I guess I am, but only because I have to really work for them and see them as sort of milestones and mini achievement,

gear is a funny thing and i think each bit marks a different point in both your playing and life....
