I've played guitar since I was about 7 years old. I gave it up for a few years because i was having classical lessons and wasn't motivated enough.
However, in the last 3-4 years i've picked it back up and taught myself. This has been far more effective and i'm now currently at a very good standard if i say so myself.
I'm currently starting up a metalcore influenced band with some of my closest friends. The band is in its early stages at the moment but we've started writing our own material straight from the beggining and its flowing nicely with some good tunes popping out of the sessions.
We're currently looking for a bassist and guitarist around the cleckheaton/kirklees area so if you by any chance see this then let me know if you're interested (must be of a good standard)
