So yeah, back in the day I used to see you around a lot. Just saw your thread in the metal forum and recognized the name and said "oh yeaah, I remember her."
Dream Theater + Opeth + Porcupine Tree = win. I like your sig : quote |
Alex Zyka wrote on Feb 1st, 2008 3:29pmOh man I'm so looking forward to the upcoming hilariously entitled Satch album
"Professor Satchafunkilus and the Musterion of Rock" !
"Musterion" ??
And is it meant as Satch-a-fun-kilus or Satch-a-funk-ilus or both?
Anyway with such songs as "Overdriver" and "Andalucia" this seems to be a killer! quote |
SomeoneYouKnew wrote on Jan 17th, 2008 10:31pmHey 'gurl, I saw your thread got closed for bumping.
Don't sweat it, it happens.
But be sure to read the rules and keep referring back to them.
Next time you post a piece and it's getting no love,
just message a pal and have them take a look.
If they crit, or even just make a comment on the overall piece,
that might get others started.
... and be sure to visit lots of other threads. quote |

robertreilly666 wrote on Nov 20th, 2007 9:55pmI like what you have for your location on the forum. I approve. However, classical music isnt "piano only" so what you infact like is piano concertos or piano peices rather than classical. classical music is much broader than that.
Check out Ludovico Einaudi for a bland yet enjoyable melodic contemorary pianist. quote |

For Porcupine Tree, If you're into the metal side of them, Fear of a Blank Planet.
For their prog side, literally any of their albums, particularly In Absentia and Deadwing (my favorites)
For Opeth, I'd reccommend Ghost Reveries, Still Life, and Blackwater Park. Or you could try Damnation if you like their acoustic side. quote |

I always recognize you by your The Cheat avatar!
What album would you suggest for a starter by Opeth and Porcupine Tree? quote |
