About rikigo

I'm an artist, musician and an architect. My tastes in music are diverse and highly eclectic, which embrace many historic and contemporary genres and musicians. I personally grew up with Blues and Rock, as well as my parents generation of post-war musical styles comprising brass and big bands. Hence, I enjoy 'playing' in many of these styles, live.

As per most of my peers, I'm a product of 'My Generation'. I've been playing R&B and alternative music for a number of years. As to my electronic musical tracks, a selection was featured in the "Sydney VIVID 2018" held in Sydney, NSW, Australia. As featured in ’Photonic State' https://www.vividsydney.com/event/light/photonic-s tate as well as 'The Lighthouses' https://www.vividsydney.com/event/light/light-hous es .

These two illuminated features, contained some fifteen tracks playing nightly, to a total minimum estimated audience of over 6,000,000 persons. These instrumental tracks featured a number of uniquely sampled and synthed guitar solos. Art, Classic and Progressive Rock are in my veins, although Generative Electro and Acid Croft is where my music is focused, at the moment.

I currently have four independently released tracks distributed through AWAL (UK), in a variety of international streaming services including iTunes and Spotify. I'm currently working on the soundtrack with other tutors and students from Ultimo and Randwick TAFE's on a new documentary about two unsung nursing heroines from WWI, called 'Angels Of The Battlefield'.

Although, I'm now teaching tertiary students, LIVE Performance, I'm still learning everyday. Lifelong learning is truthfully a fact of life. :-R
