Yeah... I've been to Houston twice... its an alright town.. but between New Orleans and Houston is this really bad cancer alley. I've always been weary of all of that, my family has had a history of cancer deaths living out through there. I like the diversity in New Orleans but its a bit of a nasty city as well. I guess its like that everywhere. |
Yeah, I live on the Cancer Coast...
And New Orleans is a pretty filthy city really, I've been a few times.

DOW Chemical, I live south of Houston and almost everyone works for DOW or BASF chemical. And I know what you mean, but really don't have much advice... That's just the way it goes, ideals get wrapped up in convenient packages, aligned with political parties and shoved down your throat..

And where I live in Texas, well the surroundings aren't too nice. DOW dominates the area and beside that it's mostly swampy with the worst, dirtiest beach I've ever seen, heh
