sit in a dark room and let your mind roam. as it lands on something let it run with the thought. Don't think just let the feeling flow through you. Then right it down and as you put it with the music it should come together. Don't worry about making it perfect.
It will be better every time you do it. Song writing is a craft and the only way to get better is to do it. Don't get bogged down with one song. Don't censor yourself and edit as little as possible.
