Nice article! Very informative and makes sense.

I have a question that doesn't really pertain to strings, but another piece on the guitar.

My humbuckers/pickups and bridges on both my guitar are rusty. I got my Jackson from a guy that had it for 3 years. No rust. I had it for about 3 months and the bridge and screws are all rusty. On my ibanez, the humbuckers and bridge are all rusty.

Is there anyway to clean this or prevent it from happening further?
