The Trinity

What are your view on the Trinity?

I believe that there is one God, who is the Father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that they are one God, equal in power and glory. They have all three existed for eternity. The angels are below all of them.

I know that lots of you will not agree with me. Lets talk about it.

Well first off how can anyone be both a father and the son of that father?

Also I think that the plan would sound better to have them seperate. Because here on earth there is a God, then there are prophets. Jesus was a very good prophet but until we get to heaven he's nothing more. Then another divine being as the holy ghost.

I have no scripture memerized to back up my arguement so I cannot really take this side of the arguement. And I really don't believe in the trinity therefor I cannot take the other side. So good luck to the rest of you :D

I agree that it sounds unbelievable. Nut the bible says it is true, (like in John, "I and the father are one.") So while this statements is tough to believe, we need to take it by faith.

I mean, just because you don't understand something doesn't mean that it isn't true.

I don't understand physics, or how airplanes stay up, or eaven the law of entropy. But I know they are true.

I will say though, that this is the kind of argument you have with another Christian, because to have this argument you must assume that the Bible is true.

Um...
"You know God? Maybe you shouldn't have a trinity. I think it would be better that way."

God made us. He can do what ever he wants with or to us and we can't do anything about it. He can do what ever he wants in this universe.

We can't grumble about it because he made us. We can't say that it is unfair or not right or would be better another way. Because God made the world, his morals apply to it. That means that what ever God does is moral and right.
I'm not saying that God will go back on his covenant, because that would be against his morals, because he said that he wouldn't.

Are you confused yet?

Not to sound like an asshole but you sound like one hard headed christian.

To us he seems flawless because he is our father so we know no better. Anyone who has a good and fair father will respect him with all of the love we could give him. So to us the father is perfect no matter what he does.

God's true sacrifice was to send his favorite son. So what kind of sacrifice would it really be if he endured a little pain for himself. It would be harder for any of us fathers to go out and sacrifice our eldest son, then it would be to go out and sacrifice ourselves for the sake of our sons and daughters.

What made Abraham such a good example was that he was willing to make the sacrifice that God has to go through. It wouldn't be so much of an example if Abraham was willing to cut himself up to keep his son alive, because everyone of us goes through sacrifices like that everyday for our childeren.
