I wuz wondering if anyone around has ever built a guitar.
I started playing guitar when I built one for my applied science class, and while it wasn't great, it actually played, which amazed me.
Anyone else build guitars?

I have built a guitar. While working on a Greek Theatre for Steven Spielburg I brought some extra Ceder, Aspen, and another kind of word I am not sure the name of (In this post I will call it ?) I used Ceder for my body, and I cut out three spots for the double coil Hummbuckers, then I used Aspen for all of the detail work and for the back body piece I used Aspen. Now I do the body a little different then most. I cut three holes into the Ceder for the Pickups. Then I place the Aspen on the back of that, but leaving a space for all of the wires to come out. Then you use this type of wood that you can buy and it's ment for bending along arches, and I use that to wrape around the edges. And I use Wood Glue and Epoxy for all of this. Then I use ? for the neck and headstock, then I cut out fret holes filled them in with filler and made a fretless electric guitar that almost has an acoustic look to it :p

I am not sure, it was a little darker than the ceder, and my dad always called it the "Hardwood," because I think not even he knew what it was
