Interests
Favorite bands :
Between the Buried and Me. This band is the epitome of what music should be. Find me a band that can go from rip-your-face-off metal to beautiful, melodic clean passages to a hoedown in the same song. In general, I like to listen to and make music that is original. Almost all of today's mainstream music is absolute garbage and it's sickening how everyone takes it as gold, but I'm sure I could go on for hours about that. I'll listen to anything from metal, rock, blues, jazz, or any combination of those that is original and not the same old shit; basically anything that I can actually respect as a musician....I'm looking at you 4-chord pop and No Actual Music™ rap. And if I come off as a douchebag regarding music, it's just because my music > your music :p
Favorite guitarists :
It would have to be Paul Waggoner of Between the Buried and Me. Everything he and the rest of the band comes up with is just pure brilliance.
Favorite bassists :
Dan Briggs (of Between the Buried and me...surprising I know) owns you.
Favorite books :
I'm pretty much illiterate.
Favorite tv :
My absolute favorites are written as reviews to get you to watch them. I feel the need to spread awareness about such awesome shows. 1. Arrested Development - The funniest show you will ever see. Above room temperature IQ required if you want to fully appreciate the wittiness, self-reference, and intertextuality of it. You will not pick up on half the jokes on the first viewing, the writing is that good. 2a. The Office - A very close second. Hysterically funny plus a touching storyline, what more could you ask for? 2b. Dexter - Simply awe-inspiring. Fantastic acting, plot, music, and oh yeah, you're rooting for a serial killer. 3. Firefly - 3 words: cowboys in space. 4. Jericho - Ever wonder what surviving a nuclear holocaust would be like? Me too. Those are my favorites, but I also like Family Guy, South Park, Futurama, The Simpsons, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Robot Chicken, any kind of sports show...usually my TV is just on NESN, ESPN, Comedy Central, Discovery Channel, History Channel, etc...
Favorite movies :
Serenity, The Departed, The Usual Suspects, The Boondock Saints, Donnie Darko, The Butterfly Effect, V for Vendetta, Fight Club, American Beauty, Napoleon Dynamite, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Dodgeball, Leon (The Professional), A Clockwork Orange, The Exorcist, Big Fish, The Notebook (I'm not gay, honestly), Lost in Translation, The Phantom of the Opera, Super Troopers, Zoolander, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Dawn of the Dead, Se7en, Pulp Fiction, Airplane!, Unbreakable, Finding Neverland, Bad Santa, L.A. Confidential, The Emperor's New Groove, The Silence of the Lambs, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Village, One Hour Photo, Edward Scissorhands, King Kong, The Prestige, Grindhouse, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, Knocked Up, Pan's Labyrinth, Feast, Children of Men, Twelve Monkeys, 300, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, Superbad, Smokin' Aces, American Gangster, Juno, There Will Be Blood, all the Star Wars movies, Shoot 'Em Up, No Country for Old Men, Blade Runner, lots more that I can't think of.........

About rcw110131
Just another cool kid going to college, working, and playing guitar.

I absolutely hate inaccurate tabs so you can bet on my tabs to be 100% correct, FYI. Everything is slowed down in Adobe Audition to make sure every single note is correct.
