Very true, to be honest I'm more interested in Astronomy and Physics, but I took the easy way out. People always ask me what I want to do with my degree and I don't know what to tell them. I bet I'll end up doing something that has nothing to do with what I studied.

to answer your question, it is quite easy to take a righty steinberger (without Ttrem) and convert it to lefty. the bridge jaws that hold the string are all identical for the spirit guitar and the headstock is similar for all 6 holes. the bridge even has a hole in the trem block to put the bar on the other side. You could prolly change the strings and tune it for lefty in under 5 minutes
