hello, just wondering what lens/camera you used for this http://www.flickr.com/photos/suziesmith/4267637034 /

Awwh you looked at my photostream! <3

The lens I used for this was a straightforward 18-55, the stock one that came with the camera. The only thing is my Nikon uses AF (mechanical autofocusing) lenses so I had to turn that off and manually focus it to get that close up. Other than that it was all stock...

am i right in thinking youve done some IR photos in the past?

if so how? cheers

and get your website back up :P

You have to get a filter (the hoya R72 is the best) and have a camera thats good for IR. Its pretty fun though, if you got a good camera for it I'd rcommend it.

My dad had surgery last wednesday, been at home since thursday but I'm just back at my own apartment. I think hormone treatment is er... less icky than surgery.

5% of the mail cant be read by the IMPs so it gets sent to the MDECs to enter the information manually.
Alot of the foreign mail is written really poorly :(

So wat do you actually do?

Logz wrote on Oct 15th, 2009 4:10pm

Not gatwick!! We process mail from gatwick through our computer systems, and i gotta tell ya, its all shit! No one likes processing foreign mail lol

the lens size jargon

im going to be reading up on the rest do you know any good websites?

thanks alot

how on earth did you afford a 5d too? lol there like £2k!

Go to www.dpreview.com they've got good resources for cameras. The lens size jargon is a bit all over the internet, it's easy to find.

And let's say I did... a few paper routes >.>

erm only the one it comes with ill get you the link

http://www.jessops.com/online.store/categories/Dig ital%20SLRs/products/Canon/EOS%20450D%20%2018-55mm %20f3.5-5.6%20IS%20Lens-73523/Show.html

what camera do you have?

any othersin the same price range you d reccomend?

I think the 18-55 is supposed to be good, there was another lens that was standard for a while that was terrible. My brother has the tamron 17-50mm 2.8 and I think that's really good. You can get one used for maybe £250. It depends on your budget and uses I guess. The 450D is a very able though.

I have the 5D with a 24-105 IS USM mm.

Yeah it's a great camera. You getting any lenses with that? Because good lenses are the most important thing.
