Charles East vs Saint Charles North" so that our football game on
Friday can be covered by Fox news. It's our big ZOMG CROSS-TOWN
CLASSIC. [It's a big deal. ] East is our biggest rival.
North is gonna kick East's ass on Friday, and it would be pretty
rockin' if we could do it on TV. So... help by voting for us, please!
We're in first place right now, but Palatine vs Hoffman Estates is
creeping up on us, and they're a bunch of buttheads, so don't let them
win.
And, uh, don't be an asshole and vote for the other schools, kthnx.
I haven't visited UG in months. To be honest, I never had any intentions of returning. Hell, I deleted all of my friends and erased everything on my profile. But I should have known I wouldn't able to stay away forever.
I was just about to log off yesterday when I decided, on a whim, so check out The Pit. I wanted to see if it had imploded yet. Much to my surprise, it hadn't, and it actually looked a little more inviting than I remember it ever being in the past. I was so tempted to post, but I knew that one post would commit me to staying for good. I couldn't remember my password, so I just went to bed.
Today I decided to reset my password and return.
So here I am! Who missed me?
Honestly, though, I feel like a total poser... I'm embarrassed to say I haven't picked up my guitar since late June. And what's worse, I don't have any motivation to, either. For the past few months I've been learning piano and I absolutely love it. I'm better at piano after four months than I ever was at guitar, which I picked up in late 2005.
So, in conclusion: I'm back, because ultimate-piano.com doesn't exist yet, and I missed you guys.
Now I'm just wondering if anyone remembers me or will even read this, seeing as I deleted everyone from my Friends list...
