            People are always looking for happiness, but what is happiness.  There are so many definitions for so many different people. Some it might be money, to have some super natural power or just to have there true love in their life. They spend there whole lives looking for it. Some find it, some don’t, and others die looking for it.

The definition of happiness is five lines of different views of the word. One is good luck or fortunate. Another is enjoyment, pleasure, or cheerfulness. These are very plain views that can be easily viewed differently to all sorts of people.

To me happiness is when you’re at a state of peace in your life. When you have no worries, have a happy family, a house on the lake and a dog lying by your side. Almost like an early retirement plan it seems like. Maybe that is what it is, that when you’re in that state of mind fishing in the middle of a lake on a small boat with not a care in the world.

Some people might have never felt happiness and are filled with sadness all their lives. They have been filled with so much sorrow that has not ever had a moment of joy. And their definition of happiness is just to have a normal life. Maybe, we have our life too well off. Happiness might be just the next better way of living for a person.

Then again maybe they might not need a huge plasma TV, a three million dollar house, or an imported car. To those lonely people who just want some loving in their lives. Does all a person need is a soul mate in their lives? A person to get through the hard times with and enjoy the good, and would that person be with you through the pain and hardships no matter what they are? Can no one find a perfect match for themselves? And the happiness they want is just to have someone like that.

So there are many ways to be happy, so many views. Simple and complex it is just that state of mind where you are at peace with yourself and the world around you. Whether it is a big mansion or the love of your life in your arms, happiness can be anything to anyone. For me, I just need a house on a quiet lake, with a good family and a loyal dog at my side.
