BrainDamage wrote on Sep 4th, 2007 2:23amGood news. Music sent to keyboard player, and he'll start working on it soon. Do you want just the keyboard track when he's done? Or the whole song with the keyboards? quote |
BrainDamage wrote on Aug 30th, 2007 11:23pmsadly no. I've been pretty busy lately and haven't been able to catch my friend online to get him the music. quote |

Page&HammettFan wrote on Aug 28th, 2007 1:57amHey, I saw your comment in my profile. First off, you can comment in your own by clicking on the Profile Index button after clicking "My Profile." Dunno if you'd care about that or not
Also, with the recording of Jules, it'd be cool to add some kind of Jazzy middle section and give the Sax player you know a solo section, because Sax solos are the bomb
And, speaking of Sax... If you could cover Santan's "Europa" and let him play the guitar parts, that'd sound sick quote |
Derigiberble wrote on Aug 26th, 2007 5:44pmNice tunes. You've got some real skills. I still can't play Mood for a Day at all. My fingerpicking isn't even nearly up to scratch. Kudos to you. quote |
Page&HammettFan wrote on Aug 26th, 2007 6:23amDude, Alex, your songs are so awesome You've gotta put up "Jules." That's a great song that I remember you doing quote |
TheHeartbreaker wrote on Aug 26th, 2007 3:08amYesterday you mentioned that you were going to work on transcribing Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys I told you I had begun that as well once before.
However, I meant to tell you that I had begun work on Light Up or Leave Me Alone.
I'm not sure why I got the two confused. quote |

TheHeartbreaker wrote on Aug 20th, 2007 3:32amThe Red Sox suck, that's what.
I liked your version of Mood for a Day, though it seemed a little faster than how Steve Howe plays it. quote |

Maet wrote on Aug 18th, 2007 3:32amOh yeah, thanks for the comment on my piece. There's only the Horn in F, so there's not much brass to do harmony with, . I only do composing at home with Finale and at times Sibelius since Sibelius has percussion samples (I need to find a good library). At school, I have access to more gear like microphones, instruments, and other MIDI software.
I have a 12 tone piece on my USB key I might put up soon if you're interested (not many people are because most find 12 tone atonal garbage). quote |
