Sorry about the delay, but I have been so busy with art and web design that I haven't looked at my e-mails in a couple days. I am honored at your request.
Just to state things right, I never did the art for an official Evile album. I did their demo albums (the smoke and the monster), and was rather rudely kicked off the first album by the record company (NOT Evile, they're cool), without even submitting a sketch.
Why am I telling you this? I have no idea. LOL Just kidding, Seriously, I have had a rather up and down relationship with Metal bands from the UK. (that's why I mainly focus on Progressive bands), Because of the Evile management issue as well as other bands breaking commitment (before the art was even started), or not paying for hundreds of hours of work... I am wary of putting my foot back into the proverbial quicksand if you understand my drift.
Regardless, I am always open-minded to working with talented, creative musicians.
As I can pick and choose my projects, do you have any ideas what you require of me in terms of subject?
Personally, I tend to do a lot of epic work. But I have no problem doing something different. Lot's of figure work takes extra time.
My fee, since you know Evile and this is your first album, I'll only charge 300 dollars for the cover AND the logo. Payment can be made through Paypal upon completion. I send a lot of email with many updates so you have total control of the subject matter. Artwork is large so you can also use it for posters and a backdrop if needed. Also FYI, I usually spend well-over a hundred hours on a CD cover, so I'm generally working for pennies an hour. hell, I'll also make you a simple back cover if you want as a freebie.
Awaiting your reply, cheers Lee
PS Though Metal is not my forte, I love Bloodbrawl's raw energy and drive. Kinda infectious.
PS If you are cash-strapped, you could use or I could modify this initially Evile inspired design (below). (I am now painting this image on a huge acrylic with hundreds of silhouetted people falling into hell), and I'll knock off a hundred dollars."
