phillip k dick was a drug-culture/sci-fi writer in the 60's and 70's. wrote a bunch of short stories and novels that were adapted to movies after his death. 'do androids dream of electric sheep' was a novel he wrote that was adapted to a movie call 'Blade Runner'. 'We'll Remember it for you Wholesale' was a movie called 'Total Recall', there are quite a few adaptations of his work. thought you might have been a fan.
